We are very pleased to announce that Darren Bazeley has accepted the role of Football Development Manager for Northern Football Federation.

Darren has been in an acting capacity in the role since the departure in late October of Gordon Forrest.

Darren has worked for NFF since 2007, having been the Waitakere Area Coach and a Football Development Officer.  In addition, Darren is a former pro-footballer with in excess of 500 professional appearances in the UK.  He is also the Head Coach of the New Zealand U17 Menís Team who will compete in Vanuatu in April 2013 for the right to represent OFC at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates during October and November.

The role of Football Development Manager is a key position in the federation and one that will continue to be a driver of change of our football development, delivery and education.

Congratulations Darren.
